El presidente Porfirio Lobo Sosa se reunió con alcaldes de Colón.
La ciudad de Trujillo experimenta su peor desgracia por la falta de carreteras y puentes, pero las inversiones se empiezan a promover en esta región.
Con un puerto cuya profundidad natural es la necesaria para desarrollar las actividades portuarias, más una ciudad con playas, bosques y toda una potencia natural, y dignataria de un valor histórico y cultural, Trujillo se encamina a convertirse en el futuro en un polo fundamental para el desarrollo del país.
“Como Gobierno estamos en la capacidad de facilitar que venga la inversión al país. Trujillo es un lugar extraordinario. Es casi seguro que la ciudad modelo estará en esta zona”, anunció el presidente Porfirio Lobo Sosa ante las autoridades de los municipios de Trujillo, Santa Rosa de Aguán y Santa Fe.
“Puerto Castilla va a ser un puerto de primer nivel. Habrá un aeropuerto internacional y una zona especial de desarrollo que traerá mucha inversión al país, además de un centro de muchas oportunidades de empleo para nuestros habitantes”, destacó el mandatario en una selecta reunión con los munícipes.
El Presidente, que presume de haber nacido en este municipio, señaló que la realidad de su pueblo cambiará. “Es un tesoro escondido con gran potencial, tenemos hasta el proyecto de interconexión de Puerto Castilla hasta Amapala a través de un ferrocarril de última generación que tomaría una desde ambos puntos”, detalló Lobo.
Sueños
El puerto de Castilla tiene una profundidad natural de 40 metros y Amapala con 32 metros y medio de hondo, “y estamos en el centro de América, es decir que ustedes tienen un potencial enorme”, expresó Lobo dirigiéndose al alcalde de este municipio, Antonio Laínez.
“Estamos diseñando la vías que se ocupan en el país, por lo que todo esto debe realizarse; si no soñamos, jamás construiremos. Hay que visualizar, tener fe, optimismo, confianza en que lo vamos a lograr”, motivó el mandatario a las autoridades presentes.
Muchos proyectos e inversiones están llegando a este municipio sin que éste cuente con una plataforma turística definida. La carretera es la pesadilla de este pueblo que, además de resolver los problemas agrarios, necesita atención especial porque la inseguridad jurídica sigue desafiando la llegada de futuras inversiones.
